MEDVISIT,  owned by MEDVISIT, S.L.U. has established this Privacy Policy in order to inform users (hereinafter User singular and Users plural) of treatment and protection that apply to their personal data when they visit and use our website www.medvisit.io  (hereinafter the “Web/Platform”), and demonstrate our ongoing commitment to privacy protection.

Personal data shall be understood as any numerical, alphabetical, graphic, photographic, acoustic or any other information concerning identified or identifiable individuals.
The collection of personal data, its treatment and subsequent use, are subject to the legislation in force in Spain on data protection, established by the Organic Law 15/1999, of December 13th, Protection of Personal Data (hereinafter LOPD) its development Regulation or any other that may be applicable, and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union.
MEDVISIT  will only be responsible and will guarantee the confidentiality and security, with respect to the personal data that it collects from the User, or that this facilitates through the website.

3. SAFETY MEASURES
In order to provide better service and ensure security, confidentiality and integrity of the personal data it collects, MEDVISIT has adopted all the necessary technical and organizational measures, and maintains the security levels of personal data protection in accordance with to the LOPD and its development regulations, avoiding loss, alteration and/or access by unauthorized third parties. MEDVISIT undertakes to comply with the duty of secrecy and confidentiality with respect to the personal data contained in the automated file in accordance with applicable legislation.
Specifically, in accordance with current regulations, we inform you that MEDVISIT complies with basic security measures.

4. Collection and processing of personal data
All the data that the User provides in the informed sections of the Web/Platform (collected by e-mail and/or by completing the forms of the Web/Platform), will be incorporate into files that are the responsibility of MEDVISIT, signed up in the Spanish Data Protection Agency Registry. These data will be treated for the following purposes:

Register as User of the Web/Platform.

Management, administration and control of services and products hired through the Web/Platform (provide the services you have requested, answer your communication, respond to your request for information, send you the necessary documentation or requested information).

Sending commercial or promotional communications (in the event that the User expressly authorizes it at the appropriate time), own or of third-party collaborators of  MEDVISIT, related, among others, with the products and services offered on the Web/Platform, by letter, telephone, email, SMS/MMS, or other corresponding means of electronic communication.

Your data may also be used for the segmentation of the same, as well as for the conducting of statistics, to know the traffic and use of the Web/Platform by the Users, such as determining their tastes and preferences, to send you promotional information or advertising according to your interests.

5. ASSIGNMENT OF PERSONAL DATA
The User expressly consents MEDVISIT to communicate his/her personal data to the doctor providing the services that the User hires through the Web/Platform. In any case, MEDVISIT guarantees the safeguarding of the confidentiality and security of Personal Data, having adopted the legally required security measures, which reasonably allow to ensure the protection of your personal data and to avoid loss, misuse, alteration, treatment or unauthorized access thereof.

Moreover, notwithstanding the above provisions, by accepting this Privacy Policy, the User expressly consents that the personal data you provide may be transferred to third companies in the medical sector, for the provision of services the User could have requested.

6. ACCESS, RECTIFICATION, CANCELLATION AND OPPOSITION RIGHTS
The User can exercise his/her access, rectification, cancellation and opposition rights by sending a written communication, attaching a copy of his/her national identity document or passport, to the address Passeig dels Til·lers, No. 3, CP 08034 Barcelona, Spain, or by sending an email to help@medvisit.io.

The notification shall contain the following information:

User’s first and last name.

Petition in which the application is specified.

Address for the purposes of notifications, date and signature of the user.

Documents accrediting the request formulated, if applicable.

MEDVISIT informs Users that the exercise of these rights is very personal, so only the User can exercise these rights with respect to personal data of which he/she is the legitimate owner. However, in cases where exceptionally admitted, the legal representative of the User may exercise the rights granted to him in the terms set out, provided that he accompanies the aforementioned communication with the supporting document of such representation.
By submitting his/her personal data, the User declares and guarantees that it is accurate, complete, truthful and updated, leaving MEDVISIT unharmed from any kind of liability that may arise as a result of a breach of such obligation.
If the User is a minor or disabled, MEDVISIT warns of the need to have the consent of their parents, guardians or legal representatives for the communication of their personal data, for which MEDVISIT forbids a minor or disable to provide his/her data or use the Web/Platform if they do not have the consent of parents, guardians or legal representatives, not being otherwise MEDVISIT responsible for the actions of the child or disabled.
Except in fields where expressly determined otherwise, answers to questions about personal data are voluntary, without the lack of answering said questions implying a decrease in the quality of the services you request. Failure to complete the mandatory fields or providing incorrect data will make it impossible for MEDVISIT to provide the requested services.
Likewise, in seeking full transparency in its relationship with the User, MEDVISIT informs you of the use in this Web/Platform of other computer mechanisms related to personal data, such as cookies and logs.

Logs are files stored on the server of MEDVISIT that record data on your browsing, and whose primary purpose is to gather information on the operations performed by you. They also allow us to keep providing the services requested, better understand your preferences and offer other services that may suit your tastes. They also help us analyse system performance, locate incidents and problems that may arise and solve them in the shortest possible time.

7. RIGHTS OF LIMITATION OF TREATMENT, WITHDRAWAL AND PORTABILITY

The User also has a right to limit the processing of personal data, a right to delete and transfer personal data transmitted to the data controller.

In compliance with current legislation, MEDVISIT informs that the data will be kept for the period of time strictly necessary to comply with the aforementioned precepts.

Unless you inform us otherwise, we will understand that your data has not been modified, that you agree to notify us of any changes and that we have your consent to use your data for the purposes mentioned above.

MEDVISIT informs that it will treat the data in a lawful, fair, transparent, adequate, relevant, limited, accurate and up-to-date manner. That is why MEDVISIT commits itself to take all reasonable steps to ensure that these are deleted or rectified without delay if they are inaccurate.

8. RECOMMENDATIONS TO USERS
MEDVISIT recommends Users to use the latest versions of computer programs given the greater security measures incorporated in these.
Likewise, MEDVISIT recommends Users to use the security mechanisms within their reach (secure Web servers, cryptography, digital signature, firewall, etc.) to protect the confidentiality and integrity of their data to the extent that is necessary.
MEDVISIT reminds Users that the Internet is not always safe, so they must adopt the necessary and appropriate technical measures, in order to avoid the unauthorized processing of their data.

9. MODIFICATIONS AND UPDATES
MEDVISIT reserves the right to review this Privacy Policy and the possibility to modify this Privacy Policy, in order to adapt it to the rules and case law of application, or to the criteria or recommendations established by the Spanish Data Protection Agency. In such case, it will be communicated to the Users. All this, notwithstanding that Users must regularly check the contents of this Privacy Policy.
This Privacy Policy may also be supplemented by any other clauses or general conditions of access to certain services, if such access involves any field of personal data protection. In any case, these fields shall not apply to personal data, as long as the User does not accept such clauses or statements.
