The doctor arrived at my place on time as previously booked and agreed. She was very nice and attentive and spoke English. However, it was not clear what the point of this visit was, as she was not able to prescribe any treatment, only to direct me to the hospital for a specialist visit. 150 euro was wasted, because the hospital would charge me extra. It's a tourist trap, honestly. Next time I would go directly to any public hospital and just pay the visit there directly.
Response from the owner:Thank you for your feedback, and we're pleased to hear our doctor arrived on time and that you found her professional and easy to communicate with.
We're sorry the visit didn't feel worthwhile to you, and we understand that's frustrating. However, we do want to respectfully offer some context.
When a patient requests a specific prescription, our doctors conduct a full clinical assessment before deciding the appropriate course of action. In some cases — particularly with medications that carry meaningful risks depending on a patient's individual health profile — the responsible decision is to refer to a specialist rather than prescribe directly. This is not a limitation of our service; it is good medicine.
Our doctor's recommendation to see specialist physician was made in your best clinical interest, and we stand behind that decision fully.
We also want to address the "tourist trap" characterization: our doctors are licensed professionals who prioritize patient safety above convenience or commercial pressure. A visit that results in a specialist referral is not a failed visit — it is a visit where your health was taken seriously.
We're sorry the value of that wasn't clear, and we're happy to discuss this further if you'd like to reach out directly at a.leon@medvisit.io.
We wish you well.
